E-file: Tax Season Goes On-line

So in my other posts I believe I may have mentioned filing on-line. Well, I thought it warranted an entire post. I mean the 15^th is only a few months away. So here’s the thing, according to the IRS 90 million people used the e-file option in 2008. In the article Online Tax Preparation, I discussed in length which are the most credible and put concerns about e-filing to rest. There really is no down side to filing through the net. If you use the sites a talk about, all your information is secure. In doing so, you allow for a faster return, quicker fixes, and less time consuming. I mean who doesn’t want that combo?

What’s the reason most choose traditional forms of filing? Well I would say practice probably. Comfort comes from tradition. And in that aspect I understand. But you don’t see these same people tossing out their cell phones and consistently using pay phones. The absence of technology in your affairs doesn’t make it any less convenient for the rest of us.
